Here are a few travel illnesses that you need to be aware of and what you can do to avoid them:

DVT

Travelers who sit motionless in vehicles for an extended period are at risk for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This can be a fatal problem if not addressed. It takes a toll because of the expenses for medicines and possible hospital visits that ruin your trip’s itinerary. Aside from watching what you eat, apply insect repellent as often as you can. It will prevent dengue-carrying mosquitoes from giving you the disease. Even if you’re having the time of your life in a beach paradise, remember to get plenty of sleep. Partying all day will weaken your immune system.
